A state-of-the-art tool called the RoboSpotTM Follow Spot system enables follow spot operators to control up to 12 fixtures at once without having to physically station staff at the top of venues. Operators may remotely operate fixtures with this device from anywhere in the venue, protecting staff while speeding up setup and lowering running costs. The RoboSpot Base Station, the brains of the system, has a sizable 15.6-inch HD touch screen that gives the operator a “first-person” perspective of the performance. Pan, tilt, intensity, focus, faders, and other hand controls are all available for the operator to use in order to operate the fixtures. The RoboSpot MotionCamera or the fixture-mounted camera feeds live footage to the screen.
